Akagi Trip is offering various tours that you can enjoy beautiful nature in Akagi mountain area. Cherry blossoms in spring, azaleas in early summer, colorful leaves in autumn and beautiful frozen lake in the mid winter... it is definitely worth getting out from the city. Guided Cycling Tour ( e-Bike)

  • Akagi summit lakeshore e-bike tour (From April to November)

    This tour is designed for those who want to try local food while a bit of exercise. We will enjoy cycling around Lake Onuma, a caldera lake of Mt. Akagi which locates at 1,345 m above sea level, so it is nice and cool even in the mid summer.

  • Akagi Great countryside tour (All season)

    Hop on an e-Bike and enjoy an insightful tour of the scenic farm town at the base of Mt. Akagi. You'll cycle through rice fields, see beautiful scenery, and catch an insider's glimpse of daily life in rural Japan.

  • Mt. Akagi Hill climb tour (From April to November)

    Experience the famous and popular hill climb cycling course by e-Bike. This course starts with a gentle slope, then gradually becomes steep through a series of sharp curves to the top of Mt. Akagi

  • Akagi 100 km circle e-bike tour with Onsen stay (From April to November)

    1 night 2 days cycling around the foot of Mount Akagi. The total distance is 120 km, so serious cyclists can ride in one day, but we cycle with e-Bikes at a more relaxing pace. The view of Mount Akagi is varies greatly from south to north.

Ice fishing on Lake Onuma (Mid of Jan. to Mid of March)

  • Ice Fishing on Lake Onuma

    Onuma Lake, atop Mt. Akagi, is full of small fish called wakasagi, or Japanese pond smelt. When the lake freezes over in the winter, you can go ice fishing for wakasagi. Drill a hole in the ice, drop in your line, and see if you can lure in some of these small, tasty fish!
